How to Overcome a Broken Heart through God’s Word of Truth What causes a broken heart

Many Hondurus women are abused or live in poverty because of government, etc.  Because of the abuse from husbands, many suffer from a broken heart.

Root problem areas causing broken heart:

  • The broken heart of childhood – the sins of the father
  • Broken heart from husbands being unfaithful
  • Negative expectations and dreams broken & bitter root judgment
  • inner vows and judgments
  • chronic personal sins
  • Spiritual, emotional and physical abuse yourself or witnessing including sexual abuse
  • Unexpected losses (jobs, homes, family members, etc.)
  • Natural disasters

This is to ask yourself

  • Do you have areas in your life that are often attacked by the enemy?
  • Do you have areas in your life that causes you to lose faith, hope and love?
  • What situations in life disturb your heart?
  • Do you have a hard time staying strong every day?  One day strong in faith and the next day not!
  • Your walk with the Lord is stagnet!

Luke 4:18 – God sent Jesus to heal us

“The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor.  He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are downtrodden, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.”

Jesus healed all kinds of diseases and demonic oppression:

  • possessed by devils
  • feeble or paralyzed
  • ill with various diseases
  • tormented mentally
  • oppressed by the devil

Isaiah 53:3-5 “3He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

Jesus destroyed the works of the Devil.  He undesrstands our pain and suffering.  He suffered many things to connect with us.

  • Despised & rejected
  • mocked
  • falsely accused
  • suffered injustly
  • spit upon
  • exposed and naked
  • abused by religious authorities
  • Betrayed by his own people
  • Beatoned
  • Nailed
  • Hung up to die a painful death
Jesus came to heal the broken hearted

Jesus can relate to your life issues and abuse.  He came to earth to set you free from all issues of life either emotionally, physically spiritually, etc.

There are many different kinds of situations that can would our soul and spirit.  Some of these are death of a loved one, divorce, abortion, sexual, emotional & physical abuse, occult & satanic ritual abuse, violence, war, terror, abandonment, lack of love, emotional deprivation, illness, childlessness, disability, poverty, accidents, personal failures, dysfunctional families, rigid rules, etc.

Traumatic events and experiences leave negative, painful pictures in our mind.  Not only that, but negative and ungodly beliefs and lies are developed in how you view god, how you see yourself, etc. such as feelings of rejection and insecurities or not being good enough for God.

The Women of Honduras

Many of the women in Honduras are hurting, because of the way they have tradionally been mistreated. Often they are treated as second class citizens and treated like dogs in some cases.

In addition many of the homes in Honduras are broken homes in which the woman and the children live alone, and the men abandoned their children for a younger prettier wife.

A  large percentage of marriages are partners in fornication, thus they are cursed. This fornication problem is especially prevalent in the mountains, the very poor and only $15.00 for a marriage license is just not available, or so they think.

The Holy Spirit is using the anointing that destroys the yoke of bondage to make a difference. In those churches where the annointing is strong, the Holy Spirit is touching hearts, and convicting partners to get married. One church recently had get married at one time.
